Admission Priorities

We are:
  1. Open to hearing, hard of hearing, and deaf students across New York City.
  2. Open to all students interested in learning Sign Language.
  3. Looking for students with strong 8th grade attendance.

Selection Criteria

We select our students using the following criteria:
  • Grades — English, Math, Social Studies, and Science; grades between 75–100 in all four subjects
  • Standardized Test Scores — Math levels 2–4 and English Language Arts levels 2–4
  • Interview
  • Review of Attendance & Punctuality
