Mission Statement: The “47” ASL & English High School Student Government, comprised of an Executive Committee and a body of student representatives, seeks to: 1) Promote school spirit, 2) Effectively communicate with the student body, 3) Support community service projects, 4) Promote ethical behavior, 5) Represent the voices of “47” students in the community.
Executive Committee The Executive Committee leads the student government, and is comprised of the Student Government President, Vice President, 2 Senior Class Representatives, 2 Junior Class Representatives, 2 Sophomore Class Representatives, and 2 Freshman Class Representatives. This committee will oversee all student government initiatives and ensure that the Student Government is working toward its five main goals.
Student Government Goals:
Increase the number of yearly school activities
Increase the number of community service projects
Increase student attendance at school events
Improve communication with student body
Increase school spirit
